This proportion is defined as the number of students starting a first degree who are identified as being the first sibling in their family to go to university, divided by the total number of students starting a first degree.
Around 75% of IUL’s First Degree Students are FIRST-GENERATION Students.
This is an important indicator to know how the university is pursuing the registration and admission mechanism for first-generation students, and thus, how to enhance the quality of education among uneducated families.
