SDG 5.6: Progress Measures

The aims of this target are to:

  • End all types of discrimination against all women and girls in the universities
  • Eradicate all forms of abuse against all women and girls in the public and private sectors, including trafficking in human beings and sexual and other forms of exploitation.
  • Eradicate all unhealthy activities especially in case of pregnancy
  • Represent the degree to which prevailing laws make it possible for women and men to have complete and equitable access to sexual and reproductive health and rights,
  • Reflect whether women are able to decide about their sexual and reproductive healing regardless of the country’s legal structure.
  • Allow for a complementary review of whether a university has a positive enabling legal and moral structure and whether its provisions are the last mile to empower both women and girls.
