Study abroad, To Do list:

To pursue studies abroad requires a good preparation in order to put all the chances on one's side. For this purpose, it is advisable to follow the following steps:

Step 1: Why do I want to leave?

It is important to clearly define the reason for its mobility. Here are some examples of questions you must answer:

  • Why do I want to leave?
  • For which specialty, which university level, in which language?
  • For how long?
  • What financial means do I have?

Step 2: Where to go?

When you have targeted your mobility project, you need to start contacting the institutions that may be hosting you. Here are some examples of questions you must answer:

  • Which country do I want to target?
  • Which universities offer the specialty I wish to follow?
  • Do these universities have agreements with IUL?

Advice:

Step 3: Prepare a visa application

Depending on your host country, visa procedures are more or less long and more or less complex: it is therefore important to prepare in advance.

For example, for stays longer than 3 months in France, it is mandatory to go through Campus France.
