The Department of Business Analysis & Transformation is an agent of change, a methodical systematic approach for introducing and managing change, that involves identifying needs and recommending solutions that deliver value.

The Department of Business Analysis & Transformation oversees the creation and execution of the annual operational management plans, ensuring their adherence. BAT executes developmental initiatives, offers feedback, and enhances the proficiency of both academic and administrative personnel.

The Department of Business Analysis & Transformation consistently assesses IUL’s performance and collaborates to enhance operational procedures and systems. Through rigorous research and analysis, the department challenges and opportunities for growth, formulates strategic action plans aligned with IUL's future vision, and subsequently presents these solutions to the university administration and student body.

Crisis Management

BAT is dedicated to manage any delicate, sensitive or critical situation that IUL may face. Making decisions in the event of a crisis that may affect operations or jeopardizes survival.

IUL Crisis management is an approach based on geopolitical processes and strategies, allowing IUL to identify and respond effectively to crisis, unforeseen events, or any adverse disruption that could harm people, property, or the university’s business processes.

Implementing measures to avert foreseeable crises or lessen the impacts of an ongoing crisis in order to protect the institution (its activity, its image, its reputation, its valuation...).

Prioritize the risks that are most likely to cause the university to fall into the red, such as:

  • Control the number of students registered in masters, control the number of students’ defenses each month or year, and number of teachers by specialty and by level;
  • Students, teachers, and employees Problem Management and Identification – Reinforce transparency and communication to prevent the interference of third parties, according to private and administrative criteria;
  • Maintaining a steadfast commitment to a zero-tolerance Anti-Bribery and Corruption policy;
  • Ensuring ethical business practices;
  • Upholding the highest standards of integrity across all operations.

Business Process Management & Automation (BPMA)

"Turn Outdated into Automated"

Business Process Management & Automation (BPMA) is part of IUL digital transformation strategy to create and develop automated workflow systems, for automating repetitive multi-step processes and tasks, that are tailored particularly to meet goals and help magnify efficiency by minimizing complexity and errors.

By automating processes, personnel may focus on their main responsibilities rather than tiresome, and repetitive duties, freeing up time and resources.

Automating workflow is a collaboration at the level of the university community as a whole, to analyze, model, and optimize end-to-end business processes. BPMA is an ongoing process that results in improvements over time.

  • Identifying areas for improvement by mapping and analyzing business processes;
  • Improve business processes and simplify work by discovering workflow bottlenecks;
  • Discover insights and opportunity for optimization, dive deeper into how IUL works and find new ways to automate processes and local tasks;
  • Develop, optimize, and automate business processes workflow and routines for IUL’s operations, in order to reduce inefficiencies using deep insights;

BAT’s primary goal is to identify, articulate, and facilitate the need for alterations in IUL's operations.

Evaluate institutional needs

Gauging and evaluating the performance of the institution and its many departments is a key objective for BAT. Pinpoint opportunities for development and areas of strengths, thorough institutional assessment. With good judgment, BAT can acquire the data required to formulate improvement recommendations.

Crisis Management

Acting as mediator or agreement coordinator, bringing together various actors views (whether they are politicians, diplomats, lawyers, state or multinational companies), by establishing communication that can serve as a roadmap, and accepting each other’s differences, making each actor’s individual points of view understood.
