Eco Vision IUL is a passionate group of student leaders at the Islamic University of Lebanon (IUL) who have come together to address urgent challenges related to sustainability and climate change. With a strong commitment to promoting responsible environmental practices and raising awareness about climate change, this student group is dedicated to fostering a more sustainable and resilient future both within the university campus and the surrounding community.
Mission
The mission of Eco Vision IUL is to promote environmental sustainability and advocate for significant climate action both within IUL and in society at large. Through education, awareness, and collective action, the group strives to instill sustainable practices among students and university staff, inspiring positive change towards aco-friendlier environment.
Objectives
Awareness and Education: Eco Vision IUL will organize workshops, talks, and awareness campaigns on sustainability and climate change to educate and empower the university community about the importance of climate action.
Sustainable Projects: The group will lead initiatives to implement sustainable practices within the campus, such as proper waste management, the promotion of renewable energy, and water conservation.
Advocacy for Sustainable Policies: Eco Vision IUL will advocate for more sustainable university policies, driving the integration of environmental and social criteria in institutional decision-making.
Community Collaboration: The group will seek partnerships with local organizations and sustainability groups to expand its impact on the surrounding community and engage in joint environmental projects.
