Situated at the core of IUL, the Planning and Development Unit (PDU) serves as a driving force behind the university's commitment to academic excellence and innovation. PDU operates as a dynamic entity dedicated to expanding knowledge and enhancing the overall educational experience.

PDU endeavors to pioneer groundbreaking solutions to complex challenges across pedagogy, administration, and environmental sustainability, fostering a culture of forward thinking through its strategic planning and development initiatives.

Vision (Mission to Innovate)

PDU aspires IUL community to achieve their goals by delivering innovative and suitable technology-based solutions.

Being at the heart of IUL’s operation, PDU seeks research to create powerful knowledge leading to develop and enhance new or existing processes and technologies where efficiency can be increased, making everybody’s lives easier, from students to staff.

Putting technology at the core of the university strategy—the integration of digital technology into all areas of IUL—radically alters the way the university operates and delivers value, cuts down on operating inefficiency, and provides a better experience for everyone.

Objectives (Instruments for Change)

  • Increase students' learning, teaching quality, and overall productivity of IUL’s operations by exploring new ways of delivering them.
  • Through (DCM) IUL can promote awareness, preparedness, and proactive response to potential threats in order to safeguard individuals, infrastructure, and the environment within the university community.
  • Conduct training workshops with members of IUL and collaborating partners to familiarize administrators with novel concepts, methodologies, and approaches.
  • Through the Department of Sustainable Development (DSD), PDU is committed to executing the SDG global objectives and ensuring ongoing support to offer worldwide leadership and counsel in tackling and resolving global issues.
  • Through the Department of Publishing & Press (DPP), produce and disseminate high-quality academic publications that contribute to the advancement of knowledge in various fields.
  • Through the Department of Marketing and Communication (DMC), PDU is responsible for carrying out IUL marketing strategies, focusing on managing various online presences.
