The Islamic University of Lebanon (IUL) participated in the 2nd Meeting of the INTexPaL, held in Venice (Mestre), Italy, from 30 June to 1 July 2026, bringing together project partners from Europe, Palestine, and Lebanon to review progress and coordinate the next phase of implementation.

IUL was represented by the Head of the Planning and Development Unit, Mr. Hilal Fadlallah, who actively contributed to the coordination meetings and discussions with consortium partners.

📌 Key Meeting Areas

• Review of the progress achieved across all project work packages.
• Presentation of the outcomes and findings of the stakeholder workshops conducted in Lebanon and Palestine.
• Discussion of project management, quality assurance, financial management, and reporting procedures.
• Planning and coordination of the upcoming project activities and deliverables.
• Exchange of expertise and best practices among consortium members to support the successful implementation of the project.

🌍 International Consortium

The INTexPaL consortium brings together leading universities, research institutions, vocational education providers, private sector organizations, and chambers of commerce from Greece, Italy, Romania, Palestine, and Lebanon.

The meeting provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen international collaboration, foster knowledge exchange, and align the consortium’s efforts toward achieving the project’s objectives of advancing the textile and apparel sector through innovation, vocational education and training, and stronger links with labor market needs.
