The Islamic University of Lebanon (IUL) participated in the 2nd Meeting of the INTexPaL, held in Venice (Mestre), Italy, from 30 June to 1 July 2026, bringing together project partners from Europe, Palestine, and Lebanon to review progress and coordinate the next phase of implementation.
IUL was represented by the Head of the Planning and Development Unit, Mr. Hilal Fadlallah, who actively contributed to the coordination meetings and discussions with consortium partners.
The INTexPaL consortium brings together leading universities, research institutions, vocational education providers, private sector organizations, and chambers of commerce from Greece, Italy, Romania, Palestine, and Lebanon.
The meeting provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen international collaboration, foster knowledge exchange, and align the consortium’s efforts toward achieving the project’s objectives of advancing the textile and apparel sector through innovation, vocational education and training, and stronger links with labor market needs.
The INTexPaL project is funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ Programme and aims to enhance innovation, promote sustainable skills development, and strengthen cooperation between academia, industry, and the private sector across Europe, Palestine, and Lebanon.
